How to Use:
1. As a Protective Wax (Before Activity):
Apply a liberal, thick layer to paw pads and between toes just before a walk or hike to guard against ice, salt, snow, and rough terrain. A dab on the nose provides extra protection.
2. As a Conditioning Balm (After Activity):
Massage a thin layer into paw pads after an adventure to soothe, moisturize, and repair dry or cracked skin. Apply sparingly to the nose if needed. It’s safe if licked.
3. To Prevent Snow Clumping:
For winter hikes, apply a generous amount to the bottom of the paws and the hair between the toes. This heavier application helps prevent painful snow and ice balls from forming.
Application Tip:
Our balm is firm due to its healing beeswax base. Simply scoop a small amount with your thumb, warm it between your palms to soften, and then massage it gently onto your dog’s paws.
Storage:
Store at room temperature. In cold conditions, the balm may harden—warm the tin or a scoop in your hands before use. In warm weather, if it softens, place it in a cooler spot or the refrigerator to firm up.
